BIO 2009 TERRY CLARK’s intent is to direct each of us to a tangible, realistic relationship with God. Terry’s spiritual roots run deep in Gospel music, but he went through a period sampling many lifestyles. Finally burned out, he pushed away from reality, humiliated at being a human being. In that condition he heard the voice of his childhood friend, Jesus. The love of Jesus transformed Terry and that story is recorded on this CD. His songs are windows through which one can see and participate in that private relationship.

Terry’s recordings began in 1972 with The Children of Faith (out of print), then in 1978, on Good News Records, two Contemporary Christian Music albums, WELCOME & MELODIES (out of print). The albums that followed began revealing the private relationship, beginning with LIVING WORSHIP and LET’S WORSHIP. Additional recordings include HEAVEN’S NOT THAT FAR AWAY, IN THE SECRET PLACE, a live concert LIVE with The Maranatha!Singers (out of print), numerous vocals on Maranatha!Music and Promise Keepers projects (now sampled in TC&M!M – 20 years of worship), an original Christmas musical entitled THIS CHRISTMAS, and more albums produced by Roby Duke including: U GADA NO, LOVE HEALS, ONLY BELIEVE & ThePRIZE. Terry’s latest releases are WE’VE COME TO WORSHIP – Live with Terry & Nancy Clark, produced by Bob Somma, and a Spanish album – TUYO SOY, produced by Jeff Lams. Terry and his wife, Nancy, live in San Clemente, CA, and direct CATALYST Ministries which provides music, teaching and materials, in person as well as recorded, designed to impact the listener with the reality and availability of our loving Creator/Father.
