PROJECT TO REDEEM AND RECOMMISSION GOD’S TRUTH-BEARING/BARING WORDS

GOD’S PEOPLE

Matthew 12:50, “Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!”
Nehemiah 1:8-11, Please remember what you told your servant Moses: “If you sin, I will scatter you among the nations. But if you return to me and obey my commands, even if you are exiled to the ends of the earth, I will bring you back to the place I have chosen for my name to be honored.” We are your servants, the people you rescued by your great power and might. O Lord, please hear my prayer! Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honoring you. Please grant me success now as I go to ask the king for a great favor. Put it into his heart to be kind to me. In those days I was the king’s cup-bearer. (NLT)
When asked which of the Commandments were the greatest, Jesus, Yeshua answered, “Sh’ma Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Echad” English – Listen, O Israel! [O People of God] The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.
The Sh’ma continues Deut 6:4-9, “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
John 15:5 Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”
After Jesus teaches us that He is the Vine and we are the branches and must abide in Him to bear fruit, He confides v9-17, I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment; Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends since I have told you everything the Father told me. You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. This my command: Love each other.”
Who is Jesus speaking to? He will personally tell you. Open your Bible to John 17, read aloud and hear who He prays for.
