She recently authored another book, CRUEL AND USUAL PUNISHMENT: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law. Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel. He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza. When he died, he was considered a “shahid,” a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society. But Darkish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing and converted to Christianity after hearing a preacher on TV.

In the Muslim faith a man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child, consummating the marriage by 9. A dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy.

Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce. To prove rape, there must be 4 male witnesses. Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to family who must return the dowry. The family has there right to execute her (honor killing) to restore the family’s honor. Husbands can beat their wives at will, without justification.

In her latest book, Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world.  She warns about creeping Shariah Law, what it is, what it means and how it is manifested in Islamic countries. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual and some form of the golden rule. Islamic law (Shariah) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world. Peace and prosperity for one’s children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world. Shariah teaches two systems of ethics – one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Shariah advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.

It is hard to imagine that Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being busily should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation. While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petrol dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.

ThePoint: We have arrived at the threshold when there will be enough Muslim voters in Canada, Australia, USA and Britain to elect the heads of government by themselves. Rest assured they have & will do exactly that. They have already taken over U.S. cities – Dearborn, MI, for example – and Britain has several cities now totally controlled by Muslims. Everyone should know this, but with our government, educational systems and public media, not to mention the ever-vigilant ACLU, already fallen to the delusion, they won’t hear any of it unless we come out of our shell and inform those we love. We don’t know if God will stem the tide and save our nations, but we, as God’s people, we can take courage and conspicuously contend for the faith in the one and only God, Creator of the universe and Redeemer of all who will put their trust in His only humanly conceived Son, the Lamb of God.

Many are deluded into an ignorance of or disillusionment with life and Christianity enough to think “real” Muslims are peaceful. Some adopt a compliant lifestyle, but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam and those peaceful Muslims support that army with their finances and their “peaceful” acquiescence to the domination of tyrants. Multitudes of Muslims are committing their lives to Isa, Yeshua Messiah daily, with no fear of the almost inevitable consequences. [It might even be more than the number of Christians ISIS has Express Mailed into their Lord’s presence.] But that miracle happens only by interaction with someone, whether one of us or Isa Himself, who freely showers them, for the first time in their lives, a love that eclipses their life of fear and sadistic domination, Isa’s sacrificial Love that rescues and heals forever, no matter what the consequences may be.

The words of Sabina Wurmbrand to her husband Richard could be our encouragement to each other, as she poked her little elbow into his ribs at hearing the Third Reich’s beguiling propaganda to Romania, “If you don’t stand up and say something, I married the wrong man!” The current western philosophy that says, “self protection at any cost,” is a suicide pact with the devil. There is no worry, whine or quit in those whose God is the Lord. They are fountains filled with a love that gives them the courage to become conspicuous without a single thought of sensual pleasure. You choose. Either you believe this life is all there is or it is the qualifying round for the eternal Main Event, in fellowship with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel along with His Son, Isa/Yeshua/Jesus. Make the rational choice and the only possibly uncomfortable consequences will last but a moment and the rewards will last forever!
