Bible Reading For The Hungry – A fundamental element of the life of a Catalyst is a time set aside daily to hear God speak to us personally as we read His Book and to respond intimately to what He says. If you are not already on a schedule, consider joining us in the Daily Bible Reading for the Hungry schedule. Over many years now Terry has developed this adventure that coordinates the reading of the Old Testament with multiple times through the New Testament every year. The most important part is the reading of Scripture, so Terry does not give commentary on the passages but points to a Core Message in the day’s reading, then adds Flash Cards to highlight some of the key elements and an action point to provide crucial perspective.
Jesus Words – To extend that daily reading, Terry is sharing his ongoing personal study of the red letters in the New Testament. Jesus is the Living Torah, the Word of God in human flesh, walking and working in the natural world which He came to save and cloth Himself with. We must have a deep curiosity and determination to know what He means for us to understand when He speaks to us personally as we read His Book and concentrate on Him. The clue that we understand, is that what He is saying confirms and is confirmed by the whole panorama of Scripture.
