Turn our hearts to You again
Psalm 79-82/Hebrews 7-9
OT
79:9-10 Why should the nations say, ‘Where is their God?’ Before our eyes, make known among the nations that you avenge the outpoured blood of your servants. May the groans of the prisoners come before you; by the strength of your arm preserve those condemned to die.
80:14-19 Return to us, O God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine, the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself. Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish. Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself. Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. Restore us, O LORD God Almighty; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.
NT
8:10-12 This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ”Know the Lord,” because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.

Change of the line of Priesthood – from Aaron’s line to Jesus
Perspective
New, continual, permanent, eternal priesthood is needed for a New Covenant which is activated internally instead of externally
Jesus mediates the Internal Covenant in the real Santuary (not part of this creation)
For those who are waiting for Him, He will return to bring salvation
