Letter From Terry

Dear Family,
It is weeding time. And not just in your garden.

It is proving time. Planted by God? or someone else?

Jesus told a parable to illustrate this time. He told the workers, “Don’t pull up the tares now. You will harm the wheat. The angels will take care of that in the final harvest.” We are approaching harvest. That means the tares can no longer masquerade. Their true colors are seen by all. But the wheat continues to grow stronger, more resilient and fruitful until they are all harvested and separated. The wheat is stored to be the food for the world. The tares are gathered and burned.

Can we believe that these processes are God’s design? Will we put our complete trust in Him and begin to help our brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, moms and dads to hold fast to our sure hope in Jesus? We don’t want to be mistaken for a tare!

1 John 1:7 (Amplified Bible) But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].

Bank everything on that. Believe it. Live it. Open your life and enjoy the freedom of this promise of unbroken fellowship with believers as we, with full face, behold our Redeemer’s beauty in holiness.

Though the darkness is all around us
A flood pressing hard to drown us
The King of glory reigns!
In Heaven, yes, glorious!
But also in our veins!

Terry
